WHEN recalled flanker Tasi Luafutu was quizzed on what he had learnt from injured All Black Daniel Braid, his answer was simple: "cheating".

THE Fiji Rugby Union has finalised its Air Pacific Fiji Warriors and Air Pacific Fiji Barbarians squads for the 2009 Pacific Rugby Cup championships which kick-off this weekend.
All players selected have been oprtdered to march into camp today at Sigatoka for the Fiji Warriors and the Fiji Barbarians match on Friday at Lawaqa Park.
National coaching director Ilivasi Tabua said the teams selected contained the best locally-based players.
“This is the build-up to the Pacific Nations Cup,” Tabua said.

Tongan powerhouse signs Wednesday, April 22, 2009
Newcastle Falcons has announced the signing of Tongan international flank, Josh Afu, in a two-year deal.
The 22 year-old stands at 6ft 4 and 17 stone, adding physicality and ball-carrying ability as well as a line out option and pace around the park.
Born and raised in Brisbane, Afu played his Super 14 Rugby with Queensland Reds, having previously represented Australia at Under-19s and Schoolboy level.

Tagicakibau joins Venter's Saracens Wednesday, April 22, 2009
Saracens have named signing No.5 for this week - Fiji international wing Michael Tagicakibau has agreed a deal with the club and will arrive in time for the start of the 2009/10 season.
The 23 year-old has been plying his trade with London Welsh in National League One this season and after an impressive first full season in English rugby, Sarries Director of Rugby Brendan Venter moved quickly to snap him up for the new campaign.

Young winger Sisa Waqa will make his NRL debut after being called into the Sydney Roosters starting line-up to take on Parramatta at the Sydney Football Stadium.
The 22-year-old comes off an five-man bench to replace Sonny Tuigamala and is likely to line-up opposite representative Eels flyer Eric Groathe.
