Nagusa hungry for tries Thursday, June 18, 2009
Ulster winger Timoci Nagusa has all the more reason to be hungry for a try against the Junior All Blacks at Churchill Park in Lautoka today.
Nagusa has stamped his mark as one of the top Fijian flyers and he quickly asserted himself in the ANZ Pacific Nations Cup with two slick tries against Tonga last week.
The Dratabu native has never scored a try against a New Zealand side and was shut out against the New Zealand Maoris last year.

Brumbies re-sign flanking duo Tuesday, June 16, 2009
The Brumbies have re-signed flankers Mitchell Chapman and Henry Vanderglas, on two- and one-year contracts respectively.
Chapman and Vanderglas join the already signed Wallabies George Smith, Rocky Elsom and captain Stephen Hoiles ahead of the Brumbies' 2010 Super 14 season.
Chapman, who has played 47 Super 14 games in his career, was pleased to re-sign with the Canberra-based side.

Willie Mason all set for Japan rugby move Tuesday, June 16, 2009
FIRST it was boxing, then NFL, and now Willie Mason wants to quit the NRL to play rugby union in Japan.
The controversial career of Mason is poised to fade away in the Land of the Rising Sun with Brad Fittler last week giving the 115kg behemoth permission to negotiate with Japanese rugby clubs.
In a frank discussion at Mason's Eastern Suburbs home, Fittler told the premiership-winning forward he would not stop him from quitting the final year of his contract after learning Japanese rugby clubs are willing to pay him up to $700,000 a year.

Connor makes timely return for Eagles Thursday, June 11, 2009
QR Reds livewire Blair Connor will make a timely return for Norths in Saturday’s crucial round 10 Premier Rugby encounter with Brothers at Crosby Park (kickoff 3:00pm).
Connor helped the Eagles to seven straight wins at the beginning of 2008 before injuries and representative commitments crippled his finish to the year and ultimately the Eagles’ finals chances.
Without Connor, the Eagles have won just three games in their opening seven matches of 2009.
