Roosters sign Fijian union international Wednesday, November 26, 2008
Sydney Roosters fans have been asking for a strike back and recruitment officer Peter O'Sullivan may have delivered with the signing of Sisa Waqa.
The Fijian youngster is a rugby union covert of some distinction after completing a successful campaign with Gordon in the Tooheys New Shute Shield, scoring 26 tries in 18 games.
The 22-year-old represented his country in the Pacific Nations Cup in 2007 where his countrymen had a memorable 14-all draw with an Australia A side that featured ex-Rooster and league coverts Ryan Cross, Berrick Barnes and Clinton Schifcofske.

Fletcher caps off great week! Wednesday, November 19, 2008
Matthew Fletcher capped off a fine week by scoring a hatrick for the Sunderland Under 18's on Saturday. It was only four days after the young Aussie had been selected for the reserves against Manchester City at the Stadium of Light on Wednesday.
Matthew continues to impress on the coaching staff and is showing maturity beyond his years.

ITALY'S Australian five-eighth Luke McLean suspects that playing against the Wallabies on Saturday will be very much like taking to the road in his adopted country - a bit of a blur and hazardous at times.
